Scott says, "The towpath is in very bad shape, at least the part near DeMott Lane. Not only is the sand surface gone, but there are spots where the "foundation" layers of rock are gone, too. Of course, there's lots of debris as well. I'd guess it's even worse the closer you get to Bound Brook. I think it'll be a while before the State gets the towpath fully restored." |
